Default BTF vs True Travel

Looking at a long travel kit for a 99 ford ranger xlt. Wondering if anyone has any reviews on the BTF kit or the True Travel kit? Also if anyone has options if ones better then the other?

What were you specifically looking for as far as information? Quality? Customer service aspects? Complaints? Justified value?

Might sound redundant but without knowing what components, are you trying to make up your own kit with cross components? A specific kit?

Are you actually in the process of a desert racer? Pre-runner setup? Overlanding or technical trails? A bug-out vehicle? Or do you just like the look?

There's a lot more to ask to find a SYSTEM that works for your needs vs buying a kit. A kit is most often strewn together off the shelf components based upon fitment and cost factors. May or may not be components really meant to not compliment each other but they don't exactly work together like a system where all of the Shocks, Spring rates, lift components work in sync because that's the design of the system.

As for the brands BTF, very familiar with. They put a lot of pride and the details into their work, their work is seen all over the place, especially here in Nevada or the West Coast. They're great enough to have come across your google search or drop out of the mouths of others you heard to look possibly into them.

In combination with Deaver or even Alcan springs, we know the brands well enough to sell them and are using them for a back to back Ranger projects of our own. BTF even has a little bit of a "hiddden menu" of stuff they make few know about.

Not to familiar with the other brand, but the research wouldn't be that hard to come across and see if the Specs meet the needs. When I say needs.. we don't mean price. Price does not reflect value, price reflects the lack of value observed.

Laterally and up from BTF comes Solo-Motorsport and Camburg for us anyway. I am sure there's a few other small/private label brands that may be equally impressive.

Hope that helps expand some thoughts and the conversation for your post.

For me, I'm looking for all around value. I'm looking to build an over landing rig that can branch out into each other discipline a bit. I am looking for a kit that I can install not trying to completely fab the whole thing on my own.
