Default Redefining the term "Fair Price"

$11,000 for a 2006 Reg cab with just under 100K miles. That is nuts.
Price dropped to $9700.

The 294MPG highway, has me a bit confused!
Probably a missed typo? And only 24MPG in the city.
Got a chuckle out of it anyway!

If it got 294 mpg on the hwy, then it would be worth $11,000!
The dealer is really gouging on this truck since the very good trade in value is $4600.
I thought the XLT trim always included chrome bumpers and grilles.

It might be me but everything is overpriced nowadays.
When I was in the army decades ago a BJ cost $10. Now it's probably $150 plus a mandatory blood and covid test. LOL
Gas has gone up 30 cents a gallon over the last two weeks here.

Many factors.. Dollar is worth pennies, there was months long shut downs, of course when everyone struggles those that aren't always take further advantage of things (look at rent in 2007/08 when millions lost homes and rent nearly doubled in some areas because people with families NEEDED a place to put a roof over their posterity's heads), on top of that everyone desperate for a few hundred to thousands of dollars are selling extra or unnecessary vehicles for the positive cash flow and those looking or needing to buy are now at a disadvantage. IT IS NOT a buyers market.

Also consider the fact that COX Industries has everything rigged against you too. They own all of the Mannheim Auto Auctions, AutoTrader, Kelly Blue Book, Cox Automotive, Cox Media & entertainment so they can flash those commercials at you too, which also lends hands to a couple dealer user tools EVERY dealership uses - Dealer track being the most used and most used by EVERY dealer as everything is near real time now.

I believe George Carlin, the comedian said it best, "They got you by the ballzz".

I am still amazed at people who get stimulus money when Covid has not affected their life at all, financially wise. Our neighbors purchased a Sig 380 pistol with their unneeded stimulus money and when I told them how much ammo is selling for, they choked.........$1.50 a round for 380. https://www.outdoorlimited.com/handg...ket-50-rounds/
I have noticed that advertisers feature mostly black and hispanic people and do their best to make the white people look like fools.
It is a rigged game nowadays in all aspects of life and we wonder why white nationalists and BLM are protesting and rioting continually.

I personally am more amazed at how little people know about economics, the way the world really runs, currency vs money, and that the % of the monetary growth they think they're seeing is... FREE

Although the prices for ammo do come a close second..

The US treasury has been printing UNSECURED money by the trillions to dump into the stock market to falsely prop it way higher than it should be. The Fed has been doing it for decades but under Mnuchin it was taken to an all time high.
Collapse is on the way, but when....who knows.
