Default New shoes!

So I made a small purchase this morning...

Old

New

Goodyear Duratracs, 265/75/16. Noticed an improvement in ride quality and traction immediately. Gonna try to get some pics whenever I take it out the river this weekend.

you people and your dang Duratracs! I wanted to try these but opted for the BFGs because they were $30 cheaper a tire. I have heard nothing but good from these tires. The only complaint ive heard about these is the lateral movement they have on highway. Have you noticed anything? What did you give for these tires if you dont mind me asking. The cheapes i found them locally was 171 installed apiece.

I promise i love the treads on those tires!

I've put about 100 miles on em since this morning, and have noticed very little lateral movement on the highway. There is a very small bit of shimmy over the washboards on the side of the road, but nothing that my old ones didn't do. I paid 919.75 out the door with road hazard and lifetime rotations, but have an $80 rebate coming in. Expensive, but could be worse. And so far, I'm very satisfied with em. What little bit of off-roading I have done with them, I am very happy. Mind you this was running my brother down a dirt river road to the barge docks. I'm probably going to go play in a field or go trailing with a few jeep friends this weekend, so we will see how they perform.

So, we decided to go tearing ass through a few dozen miles of old coal mine roads and whatnot. And the report is awesome. Chew up mud and slop and begs for more. Love this tire. Will def by again. I'll post some pics in the morning
