| | what color paint to use on my DC-1s
like the title says. My rims are starting to look like crap due to the clear coat coming off of them. So i am planning on painting them so they look better. I would like to keep the same color but they are aluminum. I want the silver and black look with the shiney gloss look. I am planning on hitting them with clear on top of the paint. but my main problem is what color silver should i use? these are the only pics i have that are worth anything. il try and get a new one.

Couldn't you just clean them up and re-clear coat them?

That is a sick look you have now. I wouldn't mess with it. I would find a way to keep that look.

Do the light sand and keep the look.

Wet... start with a mid-rough grit and move onto finer grit as you finish with the first grit.
At least this is how you would do anything else.. I am not taking responsibility for your rims though
Usually pealing clear is solved by refinishing them completely.
