Hi,

I have 255/70R16 tires on the 16" split-spoke wheels, 16x7.0J. My 'full size' spare is 235/70R16.

I can find slightly used single 255/70R16 tires easily enough and believe that these will fit under the bed, but will these fit on the original spare steel wheel, ie is the spare a 16x7 wheel or is it narrower and I will need to find a new 16x7 wheel also.

i think that as long as it is not less than x7 then u will be fine

Update: the steel wheel for my 'full size' spare is 16x7.0J.

Bought a 255/70R16 109S Goodyear Tracker 2 at Walmart. Tire says 'made in USA'... Fit under the bed ok.

Will put the Continental 235/70R16 up on kijiji... Anyone in the Toronto area want this?
