NOT Hub Centric solutions?
I've got an '08 ranger and I just put on American Racing wheels.
I'm now experiencing vibrations at 60mph.
I had them balanced and installed by this guy, I swapped everything over (tires, tpm's) and I thought there would be no problem.
He brought to my attention that unlike my stock wheels, these aftermarket wheels are not hubcentric. Long story short, this mechanic is a nice guy, but he seems clueless and doesn't offer a solution (side note: he let me drive away from his shop when he finished the work and the back wheels were loose, he didn't realize the lugs were too short)
I've been looking into Hub Centric rings, but it is the most frustrating research I have ever done.
People are telling me I'm fine with being "Lug Centric", others say I'm not.
What should I do?
