Default Wheel Spacers and GY wranger authority

I have a 94 4.0 4x4 5sp ext cab ranger, I am going to need new tires before long and I am thinking of the Wrangler Authority, only problem is my truck has 15 in rims and the only tire size for 15's is 31x10.5, and I dont really wanna buy new rims because the have a wider selection on 16in sizes. I have read that that size will fit my truck with no lift and no major sag, I also would like for the tires so stick out just a little anyone know what wheel spacers would be good or can I even do this or is there any reason why I shouldnt do that. Also any comment on the tires would be helpful, I know one person that has those and is pleased with thim but I would like to hear more, Thanks

I'd get a set of low cost wheels with the right backspacing before I used spacers. Also check and make sure its legal in your state to have tires sticking out past the fenders.

haven't heard much about those tires, seen em at walmart and they seem ok. Just GY wrangler duratracs made for walmart...treads slightly different, not sure about quality though. The duratracs are only $20 more a tire so thats something to look into (well walmart wants $200...but discount tire wants $165 according to their website).

Thanks for the info and I'm not sure of the law a guy I work with has an older ford and his tires stick out about an inch or 2 and I just like the way that looks, and the GY Wranger Authority's here at walmart are 130 a piece looks like a good agressive tread pattern on them. Most of everywhere I have looked walmart, sears and couple of tire shops doesnt have a very wide selection on 15 in tires, I thought about buying a set of ranger rims off a 2001 4wd they are 16"

The duratracs are worth it. Mine have been unstoppable and they look amazing. Totally worth the extra $$. You won't regret it.

They look to be the same tire to me, or at least tread the design

NO to spacers, especially if you ever plan on any kind of off roading. A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link, and that is exactly what the spacers will become.
