Default 18" x 9" Boss Rims W/O Tires

I am thinking about purchasing these rims tomorrow. The guy told me they are made for low profile tires. I think there are tires that will fit these that arent really small.

They are the ones on the right without the tire on them.
I know the wheels are 5 x 4.5 and 18" x 9"
Here's the pic!

It hasn't even been 2 hours...gotta have some patience.

And on that note, I have never heard of wheels that can only have low profile tires on them.

a wheel is a wheel, you can put any tire on it that is the same diameter as long as the width isn't way off.

Not getting black anymore?

I can grab these for around 350 or I can get some Saturday at a sidewalk sale. I went to the store Monday to see what all they had. Their customer service freakin sucked! I am not even sure if I want to go back there. I probably will go though.

Obviously, I am very bored. That's just what the guy said about the tires. I really didnt think that was completely true.

He probably meant exactly what he said, no more, no less. IMHO, you're reading into it too much.

When he said the wheels are made for low profile tires, he probably means that they were designed and marketed to the consumer who would likely put low profile tires on their vehicle. IMHO, it is no different than how Mickey Thompson wheels are "made for" offroad tires. It doesn't mean no other tire will work, just simply that is the kind of tire that would best compliment the wheels to give them the best look.

shoot...you can put 35x12.50r18's on 'em if you really wanted to. There's no such thing as a specific wheel that'll take a specific style tire.

One things for sure though....just by judging by those pictures, you'll DEFINATELY need wheel spacers to fit 'em...

Them things are pretty darn positively offset.
