I have a deal for 4 285/75r16 mud terrain tires for $500 basically new. I want them for my single cab ranger. Is it worth the money?

Re: opinions please
Why not compare the same size and brand on tirerack or similar. You also need to make sure they fit your truck.

Most other brands are around 900 to 1200. They are just trying to get rid of the tires. And I was hoping for some pictures to see what it looks like.

What year is your truck. Is it 4x4?
You will probably need a lift. Those are 33's. I'd also recommend regearing as well

A lot of people run 4.10's for up to 33, anything over 33 you will have to jump to 4.56.
If you plan on putting bigger tires in the future you should put the 4,56. You will have better acceleration

Alright well how much gas am I using the 4.10 and 4.56 with the 33's like miles a gallon. Because right now with some weight on the highway I'm getting just under 32.

Re: opinions please
Depends on your current gear set up. In your driver's door jam there should be a sticker with the axle code. Take a look then report back. I am turning 33's with 3:73 ratio and if I can keep it in OD I can get about 24 hwy. Any type of incline I can't and get about 16. Needless to say I get about 16. Although I have the 3.0 our power output is pretty close, it will come down to your current gear ratio. If you have anything less than 3:73's you will need to regear.
