Default Ranger disc brake upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade my front brakes on my truck. I already have to replace my whole brake setup on the front due to age and caliper sticking. I wanted to put the cobra brakes in it but I can't find them and they cost an arm and a leg. I read somewhere that explorer brakes bolt up to ranger? I don't know. So I'm looking for more info. What can I do to upgrade my front brakes on my truck? I have a 97 b2300 with the pitman arm front suspension. I have 31s so the better brakes would be great for a faster stop when needed.
