i might be trading a guy my tires for a set of 33/12.5 cooper discoverer radial stt's. should i do this and will i need to cut anything to allow room for them?
i just realized this belongs in wheels and tires

May wanna crank your torsion bars up to prevent rubbing at a full turn.

STL got it right. Crank up your t bars all the way and 33's will work. You shouldn't need to do any trimming. Plus you get more ground clearance from cranking t bars; instead of going with body lift/big tire combo.

ok so the lady with the tires replied back and said that her truck needs 16" rims and cant fit 15's. this is her response "Its a 1997 F150 and I thought it was like my 1996 F150 . I am female and didn't know that they changed rim size after the 96.someone just told me a little bit ago". this doesnt make any sense to me that the truck couldnt fit a 15" rim. can it?

Why would you not be able to put a 15" rim or 16" rim on a F150.

this never occured to me, but i have a 9" rim, would 12.5's even fit?
