No way those tires will last more than 4 years. I can't belive you only drive 100 miles or less a week. I put 30 miles on my truck today just driving around town. Why stuck on the Nitto brand? There are tons of mud tire options out there. Anything from the super expensive Nitto's to the bargin priced Buckshot mudders. (which I currently have had great success with.) If you want a great low millage mud tire, get some swampers. They'll at least be cheaper and have more size options.

i'm in highschool and i live less than half a mile from my school.. on the weekends i ride with friends to save gas money

i'm not stuck on nitto but i am against the "cheap" tires. No offense to you or anyone else but Buckshots (around here atleast) are found on the old beat down redneck trucks that are made to go through mud and thats it. I'm no mall crawler but i'm going more for looks than performance to be honest..

as for swampers... IMO they just look stupid and there only meant for hardcore mudders... no offense to anyone again

I'm not necessarily looking for a bargain tire that will last 20 years... i want a tire that looks (as a whole) good on the truck and of course performs well but any mud tire will perform well enough to my needs... some tires look good on certain trucks and bad on other trucks. i'm not sure if the mud grappler on an 18" wheel will look good on a ranger because most everyone has 15" wheels and i haven't seen to many mud grapplers on rangers

i have really been thinking about this because everyone i see thats lifted and has 33s or 35s has 15s or 16s... i'm not sure how the 18 + 33 is gonna look but that wheel doesn't come in anything smaller than an 18

Thats because most of the time your bigger wheels dont have enough backspacing and also, they like to have more rubber for offroading purposes

BFG All Terrians! you wont have to even think about getting another tire for like 8-10 yrs. and they fair well when you are wheeling.

Thats cool man. I only get the cheap tire cause they get the job done and they are cheap. I'm not to concerned with the looks, as long as they get me where i need to go. The mud grapplers def. have a cool look, but they are also a hardcore mud tire, just the same as the swampers. I always thought the Kumho road venture mt's looked good and have heard they perform well offroad and still have a good on road ride. I might actually get some as my next set if I can get a good price on them. Here's a pic.

The BFG KM2 is probably my second choice but i see them all the time. I like the unique factor that comes with the mud grappler. I know in some places everyone has mud grapplers but around here there is only 2 other people i know that have them. I see BFG KM2s driving around all the time :/
get the nitto trail grapplers, nice aggressive sidewall, nice little howl, good mileage and good offroad!

i have almost the exact same setup going on my truck soon. except i went with the terra grappler's and kmc doesnt make the monster in our bolt pattern. unless you order them from a website that has them pre-drilled to our bolt patter your golden. if not you'll have to get them custom drilled like what i had to do. i'll post pics when they're on my truck

----------

oh wow, nevermind, i did not see the date this thread was started. i assume you have already made your descision
