Default Need help with tire sizing on my ranger

I have a stock 2wd 1999 ford ranger 2.5L 4 cylinder and I want to put 31's on without a lift and without regearing it. Can I do this? And will my MPG suffer a lot?

Yes you can, don't need to regear, but 4.10s would be good. Your MPG won't suffer too much.

Stock with 30s. No rubbing or anything.

Thank you! I have been looking into it a lot. Will I be able to use my stock runs when I put 31's on or do I need new rims also?

If your rims are 15s, yes. If not, there's a possibility, but you're limited to "car" tires.

Im running some 31/10.5s on stock rims right now. Thinking about upgrading to 33s with some 15x10 Mt alloys. They have -44 mm offset. Any opinions on if they will fit?
