No problems. People run 12.50" wide tires on 7"(not THAT common but it's been done), 8" wide, and 10" wide wheels.

I run a 12.50 on my 7" wide wheels with no problems. 8" could probably handle a 14.50 without any real issues.

You don't want to put a 14.50" wide tire on these trucks. It would just be plain stupid. It could be done on that size wheel maybe, but even then it would be dumb. That's over a 6" difference.

If you ever plan on airing these down I'd get the 8", they'll hold the bead better in an aired down situation and still allow for good tread wear when aired up and on road.

Agreed. You will have to worry more about rubbing with 10" wide wheels. Plus if you ran a 12.50" wide tire on an 8" wide wheel you'll get a little bit more height out of them.

8" is better than 10".

i run a 9" wide with 11.5 wide tires (soon to be 12.5 wide)
best of both worlds
