terrible idea. get different wheels if you want that agressive look.
less backspacing is the answer.

Neg offset as well correct?

Wheel spacers are bad because they cause premature damage to the wheel bearings.

that's the same thing as wheel spacers essentially. moves the majority of the mass of the tire away from the hub, and thus puts more pressure on the bearings causing them to die a slow painful death

if you want a wider stance spacers are the same as a wider rim. dont jump it and youll be fine.

yes, but wheel spacers are way worse than less offset. stock offset is 4"
my wheels with 3.75" offset on an 8" wide rim are perfect for that look. and its not adding much stress at all being only 1/4" difference.
wheel spacers are a totally different situation than a wheel with less offset.

off set is the same as spacers, backspacing is what you are talking about

Yeah, stay away from spacers if you can help it. If you can't make sure they are hub centric but spacers is a short term, cheap fix that can have long term, more expensive problems. It's better to do it the right way with a properly fitted rim.

I just found out that wheel spacers will fail safety inspections here in Utah.

just to clear this up stock backspacing is 4.5"

also to the OP by the time you get a set of good spacers you are already looking at least half the price of new wheels usually.

Lets start by ruling out everybody who doesnt have them or hasnt used them and is talking out of their ass.

I have them on the back of my truck, 1.5" to be exact. they are perfectly fine back there, and are more then strong enough to handle the weight of anything i haul. I also jump with them and have ZERO issues. I also run non hubcentric rims and spacers, just so everybody is aware.
