Default 98 4x4 tire and rim size

Hey everyone, brand new to the forum. I just picked up my first ranger. It's a 1998 4x4 step side. I'm looking to get new rims and tires and need a little help. When it comes to wheels and tires I don't know jack. I'm looking to run 32 inch tires with some procomp series 98. I'm running 255/70R16 as of right now on stock rims. Treads almost gone so they are closer to 29 inches tall. From the top of the tire to the wheel well I have 7 inches in the rear and 5.5 in the front. So I'm thinking of doing a torsion crank to level the truck out. I just need help figuring out what size rims and width of tire I can install without rubbing after the t-bar crank.

You will be good to go. I have 15x8s with 3.75 backspacing
You can fit 32x11.50 but 31s are a more common size that people seem to go with

I'm ordering my rims. I just don't know the diameter the bore needs to be. Does anyone know off the top of there head what the hub diameter is on a 98 ranger 4x4?

I know the bolt pattern. I need to know the hub diameter so it's a tight fit since rangers are hubcenteic

70.3mm

I dont think that it will be an issue. Yes, the factory wheels are hub centric on the fronts. My rears are deffinitly not hub centric with the factory wheels.

I personally have never seen a hub-centric aftermarket wheel on a Ranger. Maybe they are out there....

----------

Post a link to the wheels you are ordering.

So I should be fine putting on some pro comps with a 80.7 center bore without a hub centric ring?

I never had to choose anything about the hubs. Go to 4wheelparts.com and look at the wheels there
