Default Small Spacers

Hey everyone i'm new to the forum here, i have an '06 Fx4 Level II. I've seen the posts about wheel spacers and know the negatives about em but how hard on my wheel bearings would they be if i get very small ones and will i still need longer studs?
The only reason i want em is jus for looks, i'd like the wheels to stick out a little bit more but dont wanna lose the alcoas. Is this worth it??
