Default Effect of tire size on performance?

Ok i got a question. how will your tire size effect performance. heres an example. my truck has 235/75/15 tires which is 28.9 inches in diameter. lets say i want to put a set of 18" FR500's with 245/45/18 which is 26.7 inches in diametertires. theoretically would there be any increase in acceleration due to the fact that the new tires are smaller and turn faster? this has been something ive wondered forever.

You kind of answered your own question there. Smaller tires will give you better acceleration. Taller tires will give you slower acceleration.

Just post pics here, no one wants to go visit another site, login, try to figure out which album has truck pictures, etc.
