Largest tires for 2.3l, geared factory 4.10
Hey all, going to ask for new tires from my parents for Xmas (long way off I know)
I have the stock p225s on 15" rims
My truck is factory geared at 4.10 so im not worried about gearing
My question is, whats the largest tire I should run (I want 31's) that won't hurt my truck and that will give it an agressive stance.
Also what would look better? A 2" coil spacer lift to level the truck with 31's or a 2" coil spacer with a 2" or 3" block on my leaf springs?
And yes, Im going to buy 4 new rancho shocks for this pig(Or piglette, whatever lol)
OH and PS... What tires should i be looking for on stock rims? Like 31x10.50x15R? Or is that the wrong thing for my rims?

There's a crapload of threads on this, but just to let you know, I just put 30x9.5x15's on my 08 2wd with stock suspension and stock gears, and I love how the truck looks now. Just enough under the wheel wells without rubbing and an aggressive stance too.

Re: Largest tires for 2.3l, geared factory 4.10
I ran 32's with the old 2.3l lima motor which has less HP and had 4.10. It sucked bad on the freeway was fine around town.

Re: Largest tires for 2.3l, geared factory 4.10
Can someone roughly 5'10 stand next to their raised up ranger so I can get an idea on height? Whether its just sitting on bigger tires or 2-3" lift or a combo of the 2.
Id like to get an idea of what itll look like. Tell me how its raised too
Thanks!
