Dealership might be able to do it for you. The most common method is to just buy a tuner.

A flash tuner won't work for speedo/odo correction on Rangers before 2001.

95~97 Ranger/Explorers have a gear-driven signal generator on the trans or transfer case for the electric speedometer. Much like a conventional speedo cable, the SG can accept interchangeable gears to correct for tire size and/or axle ratio (within limits of course). Several different gears are available. Check the Tech Library at www.TheRangerStation.com for more info on calculating the correct gear tooth count.

or just do the math....

i went from 225's to 245's....theres a calculator online somewhere i found through R/F
and i figured out my speedo is 11% slower that what i'm actually doing

so on the highway if my speedo says i'm doing 65 i'm actually doing about 72

It wouldn't be off by a solid number, but by a percentage. Essentially calculate the difference in tire size, and that is the difference in your speedometer.

Im going to be puttin 32's on my truck and i was just going to have ford recalibrate but for a little more i could make my engine a little more fuel effecient with a tuner.

do they have any tuners for a 08 ranger 2.3l? because ive looked plenty of times and ive never been able to find one.
