Question Wheel diameter thoughts?

So I'm looking to get a set of bullitt rims for my 2001 Xlt. The problem is I can't decide between 17 or 18 inch diameter. I do know that I want a 9/10 stagger. I need some help deciding!! Pics, pros and cons, anything would be helpfull. My truck is at stock height right now, but I do plan on lowering it to a 4/5 stance in the future.

I'd go with the 18 they shouldn't be too overbearing if you are going to lower it

I would price tires for both diameters. That was my deciding factor when deciding between 16 or 17 in for my wife's Honda. The extra 1 inch was not worth $50.00 a tire for me.

That's true too, if money is a factor, but to tell you the truth staggering the wheels with one inch won't be that noticeable

Well money isn't a big issue. I've already found good prices for either size in both rims and tires. It's mainly the size issues. And I know that the 1 inch isn't a big difference but I really like the deep dish look of a 10 inch wide rim. I'd go for a 8 inch wide for the front but I can't find one.

Let me ask this. Would it be better for me to go ahead and lower it first? I thought I should have the rims first so I could fit them when I lower it, but now I'm wondering if the bullitts will just look weird at stock height?

I don't think they would look weird at stock height they may actually make it look lower, since they are bigger. But I would get the wheels first then lower it based on what fits.
