The 02+ Explorer wheels are positive offset just like the 05+ stang wheels. Not negative like regular RWD/truck wheels. Only way to run 'em is spacers. I wanted to run the exact wheels as pictured on my old 2wd. Would've needed about a 2" spacer to clear the hub, the caliper, and to make it freakin' look half right. haha.

Re: anyone ever put explorer wheels on ranger
I just bought a set of 1995 Explorer wheels with nuts and caps to use on my 2010 Ranger for winter tires. They have a very similar offset to the stock rims. I have not tried to mount them yet. I can tell you that they are very heavy compared to my Ranger aluminum rims. I expect that they will have a negative affect on my mileage.

What size are those wheels?
Will they fit on a 96 4x4 without any major mods (other than to the center caps)
