Cooper St tire review
Ok, I just got a set of Cooper S/Ts today (265-75-16) on stock suspension, not even a Tbar crank. I'll start by saying this is the 3rd set of Cooper tires I've bought, but they have always been the H/T series. NEVER had any problem with Coopers, so here we go....
First off I'll start by saying these tires replaced a WORN OUT set of BFG Long Trails. When I came out of the dealer the first thing I noticed was how aggresive the tires looked compared to what I had (big plus). I bought these based on the companies description, dealers advice, and mostly price. $580 was the total bill, this included overnight delivery to the dealer. I compared General Grabber AT2, Mastercraft CT, BFGs, and Goodyears.
Right off the bat I noticed the stiff ride and road noise, but I took into consideration that I had been riding on a basic LT tire not an agressive AT. The road noise isn't unbearable, just something I'm not used to. In town they ride pretty much no different than the BFGs, but at 70 mph the difference is pronounced. I'm pretty sure that as I put more miles on them I'll never notice.
I'll keep up with this post as the tires get some miles on them, but for now I couldn't be any happier with my descision.

Another tid bit of info for these tires. I drive 80 miles round trip to work at speeds of around 65-70 mph. As stated above the road noise is more than I'm used to, but I'm learning to live with it. The Ranger now "sounds" like a truck. At these speeds the tires ride better than I expected, and handle as well also.

Finally got to drive during a down pour with these.
Factory sipping seems to be adequate, no hydroplaning or noticeable drag when running through standing water at 65 mph. Traction at take off under wet conditions is great. As light as the backend is with a 1/4 tank of gas, there was no slipping. Leaving the Honda plant there is a hard left hand turn that has negative righthand banking, notorious for breaking traction. Gassed it and she stuck to the pavement. More reasons that I'll buy these again.

I just got Cooper Discoverer S+M tires on my Chevy, and I LOVE THEM! I will most likely get a set of regular A/T's made by cooper also for my summer tires this spring. I am so impressed that I told everybody I know to go get them. And for a set of 265-70-17, I paid $610. Not bad if you ask me.

I'm with you, this will be the 3rd set of Coopers I've bought and have nothing but praise for them. Cost of the tires is wonderful along with good mileage is what keeps me buying. There are those that swear by BFGs, but I wasn't impressed with them so I went back to Cooper.

The more miles you put on them the more you will love them. I have a set of s/t in 255/85/16(33/10/16) with about 10k on them and have been through everything from sand to snow to mud and they perform absolutly flawlessly.

For about the past month it has rained here in Alabama. Finally we got a little snow to go along with it, about 2 inches. Of course my daughter and I had to go ride around and see the sights. We ended up in a field behind some storage warehouses to take some pics. The field was sloppy due to rain and snow. These tires performed perfectly. We marred up in the soft dirt and put it in 4 hi. Once we were locked in these tires bit down and never let up. We pulled on the highway, and in a short distance they had cleaned themselves out. Still would recommend.

Re: Cooper St tire review
Ok, I've put about 3k on these tires now and they have settled in perfectly. Did a little wheelin' with BAMA BOY a few weeks back, and they gripped like a pro. Still recommend to anyone looking for a new set of shoes.

Where did you get them at? Are they good on traction for snow weather? I'm trying to find some winter tires before winter and cannot make up my mind on what to get. That and I can't really find a good pair of shoes.

Re: Cooper St tire review
Cooper tires are ok. I've had a few sets by them. They are not the best when it comes to snow though. Even their winter tires aren't the best but they get by.
