truck will stay stock height, but I am planning on putting Cooper Discoverer AT3 (stock 235/75/r15) eventually.

Sure Eric:

-Took 2 soft cloths to remove the brake dust. Cloth 1 to remove the brake dust on the interior rim (part that faces the brakes) and cloth 2 with brake clean to wipe the exterior part of the rims (the part we see when the rim is on the truck)

-Compressed Air to remove any debris left over

-Spray of Brake clean directly on the rim and then wipe down.

-tape of the areas you dont want paint as well as the interior of the rim (take your time doing this obviously)

-Sanding of the untaped area using 400 grit paper (again take your time doing this) Its just to remove the Clear, be careful not go to deep where you get to the aluminium (this process takes a long time. Took me 9 hrs)

-next use compress air to remove debris and then use the same cloth and brake clean procedure to wipe down the rims.

-2 coats of duplicolour self etching gray primer. Make sure both coats of primer are dry enough before applying paint. One of my rims peeled since the primer was still to wet and we had to restart it.

-3 coats of paint

- 2 coats of clear

-use a heat gun for approx 10 mins on each rim to help the process. Once the rims are dry enough, peel off the tape CAREFULLY and enjoy your handiwork. I wouldnt put the rims to the elements for approx 24 hrs after completed for the best results.

lol I have no use for a lifted truck . I just wish it was level (the bed is to high for my liking) but i am weird like that. I just want to maximize whatever Fuel economy i can get from my 4L SOHC
