Default lug nuts

How did ford do lug nuts on 90's rangers, was at the store a few days ago and saw a 2 gen3's one xl and one xlt, both had the non chrome lugs then my xlt and the 1 next to mine had them, all gen3's, i though it was xlt's had the chrome ones?

it probably depends on if the lug nuts are exposed while the wheel is on and what the trim package is. if you have rims with a center cap that covers the lugs then whats the point of chrome nuts? and if they are exposed then they probably put chrome ones on it except with steelies.

Also they sell lug nuts everywhere.......pretty much......

i have a problem with the caps that go on the lug nuts. i was missing over half of the caps so i took all of the off except two...i cant get the to budge at all...know a good way to get them off?

Talking about the little chrome caps on the lugs themselves? those shouldn't really come off, they do because of rust, better off replacing lugs.
