285/75/16 is the metric equivalent of 33x11.5"

There are more tire options for 15" wheels, but you'll have enough choices with the 16's.

A 285/75 is technically 32.8" diameter. But the dimensions are never exact, regardless of whether it's measured in metric or inches. The actually diamater of a 33 is going to vary slightly from one manufacturer/model to the next - but not by much.

Ya thats what i figured. What size rim would I have to get to get a set of 35" tires? Im kinda figuring i'll have to get 15x8 at least? or would 15x7 work as a minimum since thier a lil easier to find. I'm kind of leaning twards just goin to 35's insted of 33's now so i only gotta buy tires once. i'm already 4.10 geared w/ a 4.0. And does any 35's come in the 10.5 size or is the 12.5 a minimum. thanks guys

You want to run 35's with just a body lift?

If you want to run a 12.5" wide or wider tire, it would be ideal to have a wheel at least 8" wide.

I highly doubt you'll find a 35x10.5" tire. I've never seen one, and I imagine it would look rather goofy if there was.

If you want a 10.5" tire, the BFG AT's come in 33x10.5. They also make a 33x9.5. Both of those widths are pretty skinny for a 33.

35x10.50 seams like it would be really dangerous having a big tire so skinny. to fit 35's i would have to put a 3" body lift on top of my 6" suspension lift you wont be able to fit 35's with a body lift easy

Ohh haha okya i see the 12.5 size now, 10.5 would be pretty slim. i thought 35's cuz i saw some pics of trucks w/ jus a body lift, tbar crank and some moding to the fairings. they said it could be done. I dont like jump my truck. 95% of the driving is road/snow. And when i get the oppertunity i'll have some fun w/ it. I jus see people w/ 3in body lifts and 33's w/ no moding of the fairings and it looks like they jus have a lot of room still.. i jus figured whats 2 more inches..??

This is the picture i've been looking at. This guys said it has 35's on maxed bars, and a 3in lift. and i'm assuming i'll have to do some modifications to the valence/ inside fenders?

35s you will. i suggest going to 33 and no higher and you might have to still do a little bit of trimming.
With 35's youll get shitty gas mileage unless you do a swap and get 456 gear ratio which would bring it back to almost stock gas mileage.
