Default affordable all terrain for a 95?

I am getting new tires tomorrow, I have to get them two at a time due to financial constraints, but I have an issue. My tire guy tells me that he gives me the largest tire that will fit on a stock ranger. However there is TONS of clearance in the rear and I feel like room to grow in the front. Now I always thought the rims on my truck were 15 inches, they are stock rims, perhaps I am wrong cause when I looked it up online it says it's 14 inches.

All I want is something all terrain and meaty looking that will fit on the stock suspension. I looked at that size chart and it says consult for these years, so I am consulting. Please help me before tomorrow or I will be stuck with stock tires.

It doesn't even have to be an all terrain at this point. I called around and I guess the "standard" tire is a "tire of the past" So I am just looking for something that will function and look good that I can do some light offroading with that will fit on my stock truck.

Off topic, just found out my C.Converter is severely cracked. AWESOME! haha.

You said affordable. Go with general grabber at 2's. They look pretty aggressive and they have a good price. Also I believe they're rated for 60,000 miles.

So apparently they dont make many tires for a 14 inch rim. I had to go with two 215s which are smaller than the other two tires. AWESOME. My plan now is when I get the other two new tires I am moving the 215s up front, and going to put on bigger tires in the back. That way it doesn't look terribly dorky. A tire that small really just looks bad on a truck.

I am looking at getting new rims. There were a set of rims on the 2007 and newer Rangers, they kind of almost look like huge honeycombs, they are 16 inch rims. I am curious and just want to make sure that I could fit a 16 inch rim and tire on a 95 stock ranger.
