The Cooper STT is a great tire. We sell a fair amount of them...and I love the different look of the tread and sidewall. They are not unusually loud and balance out pretty well, in my experience. Cooper also makes all of the Mastercraft Courser tires that you may have seen running around.

I'm considering the STT for my truck.

I'm leanin more towards the STT myself. i don't really care for mastercraft. i still have been hearing good things about the goodyear though.

I've run Cooper Discoverers on m old BII and now on my wife's Escape and love them. Great treadwear. Don't dicount the Mastercrafts though, simply because they are way cheaper than the STT.

Yep, the Mastercraft Tires are good. The Mastercraft Courser C/T is a nice compromise between an A/T and an M/T. It's more aggressive than an A/T, but not as aggressive as an M/T. Good tire. If I don't spring for the Cooper STT simply for the looks of the tread/sidewall, I will run the Mastercraft Courser C/T on my rig.

I got a friend running STTs on his diesel suburban, and he has nothing but positive things to say about them.
