Hey guys got a few questions. I am looking to put 265/75/16 Mastercraft courser ats on my 2005 edge 2wd. I read the tire size stick so i know they will fit. Now, these tires are not much larger than my stock 235s but i have a few things I want to be sure of before i buy these. 1 Will these affect my brake performance? i.e. wear pads more often, burn up master cylinder, cause rotor problems? 2. Will they cause any other mechanical problems? or will they rub? 3. does anyone have anything good to say about these tires? will they greatly effect my gas milage?

They are larger so they will cause brakes to wear more.
fuel mirage will greatly decrees if you don't have 4.10 gears.

They are an inch wider and 2 inches taller. In tire talk thats a good sized bump...

well I checked my gears I do have the 4.10 so i guess thats good. The only thing i am really worried about are brake problems..

Before putting on the new tires have the rotors looked and possibly turned if they can be. That way your starting fresh. Also upgrade to the Hawk LTZ pads.
