hi, i just picked up my first ranger last week and it is in excellent condition for what i paid for her. she is a black '97 3.0 extended cab and has a pretty solid suspension and front end, (however i have been considering changing the springs/shocks setup). i'm definitely going to change the wheel combo for something more aggressive than the 15" splash rims the previous owner has on it. i've looked at multiple packages but wanted to know a few things before i make my final decision, and i figured that experience from some of you would help to be my best teacher. what would be the largest tire i can put on a 15x8 wheel (like the outlaw, baja or similar) without any rubbing? will a 31x10.5 be okay? or should i be looking at a 30x9.5 or 265/75/15? any and all help is greatly appreciated. thanks,

you could def. put a 31x10.5 on it, or even a 32x11.50 but you might have clearance issues on the truck

thanks for the link. as long as i know a 31x10.5 can fit with no major issues, i think i've found a package that may work for me.
