Default Resurfacing Stock Wheels

I have a 93 STX with the stock 15x7 alloy wheels on it. I like the wheels, but they are looking pretty poor after 16 years of abuse. Is there any way to remove the corrosion and get them to look better? It looks like the clear coat has been compromised. Thanks for any info.

Sand the clear coat off and paint them. Check out my flex pics thread if you want to see some that have been painted.

Thanks both of you for the idea. That's probably what I'll do.

I agree. Sand and/or sandblast to rough them up, paint them, then a layer of clear.
