Default 92 XLT needs tires

I just purchased a 1992 Ranger XLT, 2WD, 5 Speed, 4 Cylinder rolling on 14's. I'm looking to get two snow tires for the back and all season for the front but hear that 14's are rare anymore. I do in fact would like larger tires in a cheap way. I have no clue how big of tire size i can go 15? or 16? I"m looking for cheap options if anybody knows of any?

Are you talking about wheels?? I can't imagine having a Ranger on a 14" tire... lol... 15-16 are the common wheel sizes and my truck stock was a 29" tire. I'm too lazy to convert all that right now but I would imagine your truck wouldn't be far off. Honestly, to start with, I'd go to the local tire shop (probably a chain preferably) and get a tire size and a price. Then start shopping around...

Wrangler wheels work too if that's more your style... check craigslist! Set of stock wheels for $200 here.
