What size tires will fit a 15x10 wheel?
I may be picking up a set of 15x10 wheels next week, as long as my car sells. The guy wants 200. I was thinking of offering 150. What size tires should I shoot for? My truck is a 99 B2500 with a 3.73 rear end. Also, are these too wide for my truck?

They will definitely stick out. You need a tire wider than 10". So basically a tire wider than the rim

Re: What size tires will fit a 15x10 wheel?
they will stick out a lil, put flares on your truck and itll be fine. you need at least 31/10.5s, something over 10.5 wide is better though.. id avoid them and find 8in wide ones..

Re: What size tires will fit a 15x10 wheel?
On a 10" wide wheel, I would be looking for at least 12.5" wide tires. Other than that I would put it on 8" wheels.

Yea I would NEVER run anything other than a 12.50 or wider on 10" wide wheels. Or they'll look like this:

Off road. I would love 31's if the lil 2.5 can turn them. I don't do much highway driving, so I am not too worried about top end. If its a real issue, I'll get a 4.10 rear end.

IDK, if my car sells on Thursday I'll have some more monies to play with.
----------
My buddy has 31's on his Jeep. I could always swap them on and give her a test drive.

Re: What size tires will fit a 15x10 wheel?
im running 15x10s on my 2000 4cyl 2wd Ranger .....they were on the trck when i bought it along w a 3" body lift, wrapped w ProComp 35x12x15s, looked like a lil monster trck, they were way too big for her tho, the ball-joints were shot, and drving took alot of effort (hard to turn the wheel and very hard to press the gas or brake pedals, and horrid milage, initailly (after putting $600 into repairing the front-end) i wrapped em w mickey thompson 29x9.5x15s, was a nice fit i would recommend, but w the lift kit they looked too small on the trck, i been runnin Dunlap RV 31x11.5x15s for the last 3yrs, and everything looks and plays nicely, im needin to replace them again and im lookin for something jus a tad smaller for milage reasons, considering 265/75R15s
(the avatar pic is my Ranger w 31/10.5x15s)

Isn't a 265/75/15 the same size as a 31/10.5/15?
