Default hello and TIRE SUGGESTIONS

Hello, this is my first post so hello everyone at ford ranger forum.. I recently sold my turbo nissan NX2000 and bought a 1998 ford Ranger XLT 2wd with 101k on the clock.. no lights on in the dash and an amazingly clean interior. It even came with a nice fiberglass cap which i sold to knock off the price of the truck, i ride ride bikes and snowboard so i dont need a cap...

anyway on the to questions..

I really want to beef up the looks of my tires, i would even body/suspension lift it.. stock its a 14 inch rim and i dont think the tires look beefy/aggressive enough so i was looking into a Crager Soft 8, 15x8
and a maxxis bighorn LT235/75R15 ( OR 31x10.5R15 , but it seems id have to trim) are the tires i was looking into..

CAN ANYONE tell me what will fit with no need to trim.

i see on the maximum tire size chart my truck fits into
98-00 XLT & XL & Sport 2wd
* 15x8 stock suspension - 30x9.5x15, 31x10.5x15(may need to trim)

thanks and thanks again.

also if anyone knows any good body/suspension lifts for my 98 ford ranger xlt 2wd , i know there far and few between for this year truck but id love to see them i am very interested in doing that.

welcome! id figure out your lift first before you look into tires, the 235 75 15s arent that big, i run them with stock suspension in the winter, i think theyre roughly 29" tall

tire calc:235/75/15 = 28.9x9.3/15
