What is the gear ratio in your truck?
You are talking about going from a 26 1/2" tire to a 29" tire, that is going to throw the speedometer off a little, and may cost you some mpg.
I am not saying you should stick with the 14", I wouldn't, but I might try to find something like 215/75/15, they are 26 3/4".
Your deciding factor should include you rear end gearing.
I thought they quit putting 14" on Rangers back in the early 90's, except on some fleet trucks.
