Treadwright AT's. been running the 215/85-16's for nearly 4 years in snow, ice, mud, and highway and love them. but forget everything you ever heard about retreads and give these a good, hard look. they are completely remolded and so far i have over 20k miles on them and they look good for another 20-30k! seriously good traction and wear at a minimal price. best bang for the buck in my book.

Eh. If you got a slightly bigger budget and you want a more aggersive look have you seen the Goodyear Duratrac's? They are SUPER good off road, look like a mud tire, but ride and sound like a very light A/T

my friend has 33x12.5 duratracs on his jeep and there badass. very aggressive looking, not as expensive as others, amazing performance, and reviews say that they last long... very nice tire here

So i was at the salvage yard today scouring (hopefully spelled right) around and looking for part for the front end if I wanted to fix it. Need front left fend, headlight and turn signal filler. Front bumper. So I thought I'll just take from the Left fend all the way over to the right headlight minus the head light and turn signals.

$200 I was quoted. I thought that was a pretty good deal. Now I just need to come up with $200. Better start saving.

I actually found a hub cap for my left rear wheel.

I saw some 235/75/15 BF Long Trails outside that seemed have good thread. I might see how much he wants for them since I know I"M going to need new tires. Could probably get my neighbor to get them put on for me since he works at an auto place.

They quoted me $100 for the set of 4 tires.

Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2. I have them on my 05 FX4 II and LOVE them. Better than the BFG's in my opinion, and much quieter on the road. Traction for weeks! I put Hankook Dynapro AT/M's on my 03 Navigator that I take out on trials as well. Another good tire. Got them on the stock 18" rims for 140 a piece installed. Look for deals online.

I went with Cooper Discover's NTB was running a special and needed tires bad along with shocks. Finally my truck drives straight finally but there is still some play in the steering. Is there a way to correct this?
Thanks to every one and their input.

Dixie Boyles,

I about cracked up when I read your post b/c I thought you were joking. B/c the $ I put into have this done even though now it's my only vehicle is worth more then the truck itself. But you know what? I sold the Focus, think it was starting to go down hill, and now I don't have a car payment and decent running truck. Plus my insurance dropped dramatically. And with a wife in school, children to feed and clothe every penny counts.

but here are the pics.

Rear shocks.

I showed you the good side. My left front fender, front bumper, and headlight filler is dented from sliding into a guard rail. Tire problem probably. So as soon as I have $ I'll go to the Junk yard and get parts to replace them.
