ProComp Tires???

ive searched and couldnt find a review for them. I'm still researching tires before i put down the money for some right after christmas. I've narrowed down my list to the Grabber AT2s for sure. after that i'm unsure. i want the BFGs, just not paying the price. Ive looked at some Mastercrafts A/Ts, didnt really like em. I was looking at Procomps site and i really like their All Terrains and their XTREME A/Ts. i'd like to have the Xtremes b/c they have a nice looking pattern, a 40,000 mile warranty, the regualer A/Ts have a 50,000 mile warranty. therir tread patterns are similar, the XTREMES have wider tread "teeth." i want an aggressive tire, but one that will still last. Does anyone have experience with either of these ProComp A/Ts or know of anyone that liked/hated them? Should i jsut go ahead and get the Grabbers? i can get the Grabbers for $536 installed. im not sure on the procomps yet. thanks

heres a review; ive heard mixed reviews about Pro Comp tires. I think, if i remember correctly, they were on the pricier side of tires. my friend said they didnt wear correctly, but i dunno about it. the reviews look good

all the revies ive read seem pretty good. they cost $131 a tire on 4wheelparts.com fora 31x10.5R15. ill be getting tires at my local dealer and they price match for me...

i dunno what this effects, but it says they are directional.. maybe something to watch out for, but ya 131 seems to be a good price. i was looking at truckadons, they listed them for the lowest price was 260

explain this directional thing to me???

nevermind, i googled it. the directional thing doesnt matter to me. i never rotate my tires side to side. only front to back. from my understanding directional tires shed water better as well. anymore opinions

That means the treads are designed only to turn one way. On the sidewall of directional tires, there's an arrow showing the direction they're supposed to spin.

maybe a problem if you get a flat, and only have 1 spare and its for the other side lol

He could just keep a normal type tire for a spare. It wouldn't really hurt anything if it got changed back to the original relatively quickly.

lol thats true..but what about rotation? to get the 40,000 miles you'll nee to rotate tires so they wear evenly, with directional you'll need to take the tire off the rim and put it back on facing a different direction. not trying to influence any decisions, just trying to highlight possible future snafus that may arise later on

but then wouldnt it be facing backwards when it gets rotated to the other side?
