Default Tire/Lift Help

Ok so I have a 2003 Ranger Tremor 3.0 2wd. I am going to do a 3" body lift and 3" spindle lift plus a 1.5" leveling kit. I am going to running 35x12.5x17 MTs. And have a few questions:

1. Trying to find out if either of these rims will fit without rubbing.
Rim 1. 17x9 4.5 backspacing -12 offset
Rim 2. 17x8 5.187 backspacing +20 offset

2. Trying to find the right gear ratio I mostly will be driving highway with very little offroad. What will give my good gas mileage with out give the truck problem only being a 3.0?

I personally wouldn't run a 35 on a 3.0 but that just me; geared not. Just do a 33. Still gonna suck on the 3.slow, but u can't possibly think u will get good gas mileage with that big of a tire putting a strain on that engine

If your going for mostly highway driving, think twice about going mt/s, your gonna die with the road noise, on the work truck i drive we have km2's on it, and they are loud, i can hear them over the diesel, and the 7.3 is kinda loud.
Also once a set of mt/s start to wear, they'll just start wearing faster, and faster, especially if you get cheapo ones.

Go for a set of 33 at/s, running 4.10s with that you should be fine. But it wont be as responsive. A 3 in body and 3 in spindle will be fine, no need for a 1.5in leveling kit.
