Default 265/70 r15

Does anybody know how much of a difference there is in size between 265/70R15 tires and 31x10.50 R15 or a link to a chart that shows the widths and diameters of the different sizes? thanks

265 is the metric size of 31" but when you convert it 265 actually is 29.6" so they round it up to 31"

Diameter: 29.6
Section Width: 10.4"
Section Height: 7.3"

Thanks, I was thinking they was a similar size and I usually get a better deal on 31x10.50 R15's.

So you know they dont make a 267.

You would have to get either a 265 or 275

235/70R17
245/70R17
265/70R17
275/70R17
285/70R17

yes i meant 265/70 = 30 which is what i have on the ranger now but gonna go with the 31x10.50 r15 next time which are a more common size that tire shops usually keep in stock.
