Default Absolute Best Gear Ratio For 35's?

In a previous thread, I was told a 4.56 gear ratio would be a good gear ratio to start off to run 35's. But what would be the Absolute Best ratio to run 35" Tires?

depends on the type of driving you wanna do. a friend of mine has 6.20's in his truck running 35s, others have 4.56, some in the 5's... you get the point.

street? highway? all offroad? what type of offroad?

Yeah I drive mostly highway, but need the torque for when I need to get back into the way back of the muddy cornfield while deer hunting. Would a 4.56 gear ratio be good enough to get through the occasional mud, and muck?
