Default my new Wheels project...

bought some aluminum wheels, 15" ones from a 89-92 ranger. $100 for the set. they are gunmetal grey now but am going to polish to a mirror finish
what do you guys think of em, not too pitted or chipped. probly going to run some 255/60/15 BFG radial T/A's on em for the summer.

Just throwing this out there. I have a 99 B series, and I bought a set of snows on these exact wheels. The center bore was a bit smaller and it caused issues. Took me a while to figure out what the issue was, but it could have been bad considering the weight was solely on the lug studs. Just lookin out. As for the look, I love them.

There is a small lip on the inside of the center bore that could easily be machined out. I just don't understand how nobody else has had this issue. At least nobody spoke up in my thread.

----------

After looking at your pics again, I don't see the lip on your wheels. I am going to head out to the garage right now and take a pic of what I am talkin about.

I know the rims look horrible, but for 70 bux with studded snows, I didn't give a shit how they looked.

I don't know what you're asking, but that small lip was preventing the wheel from fitting over the hub. See what I mean by it could easily be machined? I will probably dis mount the tires, clean the wheels up and paint them, and sell them on CL. Or just sell them as is, depends on how bored I am one day.

Just test fit them, if they don't fit, the fix is simple enough.
