Default Spare Tire Kit

Would anyone be able to post a picture of their spare tire kit, (Jack, jack handles, lug wrench - 2002 FR Edge compatible) especially the end of the jack handle that goes into the wench to lower the spare?

The two decent salvages here in town don't have any in stock, so I called a few others and they state that have them in stock, but can't be sure they are from a Ford family product. I asked if I could make sure the jack handle fit my Ranger, but they wanted me to purchase first (that's why they're not decent salvages - LOL.)

Thanks a million...

silly question, But there isn't any jack or parts located in the center of the wall at the back of the inside of your cab?
I knew a guy who had no idea this was where the jack was at. When I showed him he said he felt like a doofus.

Nope. I blew a tire a few weeks ago and the jack/parts are not in the compartment. There was a lug wrench, but it was not original to the truck. I have another vehicle with jack and the like, so I was able to get the tire off and then replaced, but I still don't have access to my spare. The tire shop stated that they can't get it lowered without the tools and I hate dealing with the dealerships and paying them that much for something.
If I could just see the end of the rod that goes into the wench, I could determine if the salvage has the right kit.

Mine has three rods, the tire iron, and the jack. Two of the rods are made so they link together and the third has a hook like end for engaging the cable spool that raises and lowers the spare. The tire iron has a square cut out so it can slide onto the rod end and act as a crank handle.

I have this same problem. My truck came with the jack, but nothing else. I did manage to get a lug wrench at the Pull-a-part, but I still don't have the rods and can't lower my spare. I know that they can be bought on Ebay, but I was looking for alternatives. Don't want to pay 60 bucks for a couple short metal rods. Anyone know what will fit in the receiver for the winch?

LOL....i posted a thread about the LOCK for the spare. Anyone else having this problem? My truck did not come with a kit either, so I bought mine for Poole on the FRF.

Mine had a lock on it. Drilled it out. Then used the tire iron to lower the spare. It was just long enough to work.

Also fwiw, a f150, e150 all have the same tool but it's one piece so no more lost tools. Just a little tidbit.

@HazardousRanger - Thanks for the picture. I'm able to see the end well enough in this picture to get an idea of what I need.

**************

You know I understand the security of it all and the fact that it's about the only place you can store a spare, unless you want it in your truck bed, but this kit is clunky. 4 rods, the tire iron, and the jack. Seems like the F150/E150 kit that 2001xlt4d was talking about is a better solution.

I think I'm going to check the salvages for this kit first now.

Thanks to everyone.
