Ok so anyone know of the best way to change my rims on my truck to black without buying new black rims? best paints? sandpaper? primer?

check my album too... Pretty easy.. I personally did 1 side at a time. Took them off, sanded with a couple different grits, washed them with soapy water. Made sure everything was clean. Then put 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of black. I didn't want the shiny look, so I didn't put a clear coat on, but it really isnt too hard. Prep is the biggest part. Taping off the tire was honestly probably the toughest part of the whole process

Pretty much prepped the hell out of em, They were polished finish when i got them. Well minus the crappy rattlecan job it had on before. I used some paint stripper and removed everything. Then washed with simple green and water. Then Sanded down. Primed, 00 steel wool, Prime, then 1st coat Black, Steel wool, 2nd Coat Black, dried. 3rd Coat black. Bake the shit out of it.

I painted mine, I got pics in my album. I used engine paint if the wheel heats up it would be able to handle it.
