Default painting rims

whats the best spray can of black paint to put on my steel wheels?

yea rustoleum makes a wheel paint and clear coat that they sell at autozone, real easy to use

if not that make sure you use a high heat primer so it wont chip when it gets hot, or buy cragars

as long as you take the time to prep good most paints will work, Ive used the dupli color wheel coating paint for my truck, atv's and my little bros wheels and only have had problems with atv because i didnt prep at all

x2 on the prep job!
Make sure to clean and primer well
Before paint application

Also b sure to give each coat of paint ,proper curing time

I have used the Dupli-color on about 8 different sets of wheels and it works great. I also do extensive prep work on the wheels I paint them.

One thing with the dupli color paint you don't want the paint to dry to long before next coat. Can says 10 minutes Max between coats and it should take no longer than an hour once you start spraying to finishing

Too much work. If the tires off powdercoat them. I pay 40-60 for a set.
