Default All Terrains or Mud?

Im looking at getting some new tires for my Jeep. Looking to do BFG All Terrains or the Mud. I will be using it for mostly DD when Im not driving the Ranger or Moto. My plan for it is of course mud, trails and some rock. It will also double as my expadition and camping rig. There is only a 13 dollar difference between the two thats why Im asking.

You found 35 inch km2's for $187?

And how do you plan on fitting them on your unibody wj? Unless you already have the $2200 OME lift kit on there, which will barely allow 33's.

Basicly modeled off of this guys. Trimming and more than likley flairs will be needed to get them to fit but O well. Not really trying to keep her pretty.

Sounds awesome, I like the idea of stuffing some 35s on there. Pull out the reciprocating saw and keep that body weight low. Post some pics of this thing when your done!

Also, Tirecrawler has some good deals, but it seems like their shipping/handling runs a good $30-$40 more then tirerack which ends up cancelling out the saving.

I've seen 35's on plenty of WJ's with minimal budget boosts.
Saw one on 37's with 4"/ Long arms. no clearance issues what so ever.
My girlfriends 2001 had 32's with 1" coil spacers/shocks. With only minimal rub at full lock left.

Hell my XJ has 4"front 6" rear and I can clear 37's, but don't need 'em (no fun when you can go over everyhing lol)

K now to the OP's question:

I say BFG AT, just because it'll see more than 50% of its MILES on pavement. I'm a huge fan of the K O A/T. I've run the older muds and the new KM2's, and I sold them and got some BFG A/T's instead because they friggin SUCKED like super swampers on the highway as far as sound, and there a lot softer tread compound so they were wearing down fast.

I run 33x12.50R15 BFG AT /KO's on my XJ, I have them siped (which can lead to chunking in off-road rocky situations) and I have perfect tread/no chunking, and 14/32"s left after 8000mi on this set (which has been 4400 mi OFFroad only).

The km2's I had on my old truck had about 10k miles on them which was pretty much all on road and they still looked practically brand new. My current set has about 3k on them and cant even tell they have warn down any.
