LT305/70R16 nitto mud grappler tires
im sort of new to tires, im only 17.
ive been looking at many tires, i have a 4 inch suspention lift coming in, im going with a 33 inch tire, BUT, most of the tires i have looked at are 12.50 wide, but nitto only makes a 12 inch wide tire with a 33x16 tire.(tire x wheel) the reason being i want a small rim is because smaller rims=cheaper and shows more tire. im asking will you even notice the less .50 in the width? could anyone post any pics with a 12 inch wide mud tire? thanks

Re: LT305/70R16 nitto mud grappler tires
Go with these tires:
33x12.5 r 15 BFG Mud Terrain KM2's
You are looking for an aggressive tire that is good on both on and off road. BFG's are good at both. They aren't very loud on the road, and they wear better than any other Mud tire out there. You won't notice a difference between 12.5 and 12's.

thanks for your info, ive heard good things and i would definatly get my moneys worth with bfgs. i am a kid and i do want my truck to look 'cool'. all kids go out and mud and do dumb stuff lol. im not 100% set on ANY tire. the nitto trail grapplers are also on my list, there less agressive. do the bfg km2 have ANY noticeable sound at all? i would like atleast a little bit. ill probably get annoyed with the nitto mud gapps after awhile because ive been told they sound like an airplane. so something a little quiet would help, i just dont want 0 sound at all. thanks for understanding.

Definately a little sound, but not anything annoying at all. A good low rumble, even at higher speeds it's not bad.

Depends on how well you take care of them. I'm still wearing mine in.

Re: LT305/70R16 nitto mud grappler tires
I mean, it's really all about preference. You can click my link I put up there and see what the 33/12.5 r 15's look like with a 3 in body lift (similar to you lift). Also about pricing and stuff like that. I got mine on a weekend that was tax free so I save quite a bit of money.

im not sure myself, i mean the 33.1 is a bgiger tire, and i dont think youd be able to tell the .3 less width, but then again with a 15 inch rim instead of 16inch, it would probably look better and be cheaper.
