Why does everyone hate on Goodyear, I had the triple treads on my car and put 17000 miles without virtually any tire wear whatsoever and I was not easy on it at all. They were also pretty good in the snow, they pushed a little bit but they are a rock hard tire that is rated to last 85,000 miles.

i know the goodyear wranglers were are pretty mediocre tire, excluding the pricey m/t version with the silent armor thing. they would wear down really fast and didnt really have good traction at all

Would you recommend the Grabbers for the snow instead of buying winter tires, if not what would anyone recommend for the winter. I have a 2009 2wd reg cab and am a bit worried about sliding in the snow with the standard tires.

Good question. It seems like a lot of people say negative things about Goodyear. But Ford wouldn't sell the Ranger with Wranglers if they were that terrible. There's a 99% chance that I'm going with BFG when it comes time for me to get new tires. But the stock Wranglers have performed well for me, in every weather condition. I have yet to be in a situation where my tires stood out as being a weak link.

they were only slightly noisier than the continentals that came stock on the truck, i cant really hear them at all, on highway its the same, really quiet. as for ride quality, its very good, as long as they are properly inflated the ride will be as good as any bfg out there. from comparing these to my buddies bfg A/Ts on his FJ, they are almost identical.
