Gas here is $3.57 right now. I think it's funny, even though gas prices drop, they still get you with the price of tires.

A couple months ago, I took my mom's car to a shop for repairs. One of the things needed was new tires. I was told that beginning in April/May sometime, a 10% import tax by Obama was going to be added per tire. It also doesn't help that oil prices have remained high, and rubber is a petroleum by-product.

Weds. I paid the lowest price per gallon that I have paid in a long time -- $3.59 for regular, self-serve, unleaded. Other stations were already selling gas at $3.89/gallon, so I lucked out. Yesterday, the price had lowered to $3.77/gallon. Typically, a holiday weekend prices stay high, but I guess the feeling is that so many fueled Weds. and Thurs. and most people are staying put.

Not in the states so couldnt tell you about gas prices but I ended up ordering a set of 5 BFG KM2's 35x12.50x15 for 1144 off Tire Crawler. Had some trouble with shipping but ended up turning out alright!
