live one winter with those wheels with road salt they turn into rusty crappy wheels. plus anyone that has had aftermarket steel wheels knows about the horrible balancing and the egg shape problems

I have had black steel wheels on my truck for 4 years with Iowa winters and they are not rusty and they took less weight to balance than my factory wheels

yeah they started something new here in jersey this year, its like white lines going down the whole road, i think its brine, but it tore my dads rims up there chipping like crazy, it eats the crome up.

but i love the look of those rims

they look nice, i think they would look better if there is the possibility that you could use the stock center caps, stock ford center caps blacked out on those wheels would look really good imo

Thats a salt solution they spray on the roads. They have been doing that for a few years now to keep the snow from packing onto the paved surface. That stuff kills your frames and anything chrome!!!

wow i hope we never get that shit up here in canada then

they just started it here in jersey, 2 snow storms (under 6 inches of snow both times) killed my dads rims, and he only have a tiny bit of crome on them. everyone puts there stock wheels and tires here its so funny because every now and then youll come across a big f350 with a 8 inch lift with the stock tires underneath it, but hey its worth it!
