Default Paint removed from wheels!

It took 3 coats total of The klean-strip Aircraft paint remover to get them completely clean. Pressure washer was very helpful. I am unsure as to what i want to do with them. Either Paint them the same color they were or just clear coat them and leave the way they are.

I say leave them.

Where did you get that stripper stuff at? Does it hurt plastics?

So i couldnt decide which direction to go with the wheels. So i figured I bought the wheels because A. They were the style i really wanted. AND B. I really liked the grey color they were. With that being said i am painting them the Dark grey color. Iam sure i will think the polished wheel would have looked better when i am done painting them. But oh well I still have a half gallong of paint stripper so i can always try to go back

Yeah definitely BEST color choice for that type of rim. They DO have a military/utility look to them. I think you ended up making the BEST choice. What about a quick shot of satin clear though??

They all have 2 coats of clear on them. rim is really nice and smooth. Iam going to put them on the truck tomorrow after i check out my ball joint or tie rod issue

----------

I liked how the rims looked with just the green primer if it were my old jeep i would have kept them green
